Formed 12.41 on Guernsey (initially also known as Flak-Brigade Kanalinseln). On 1.4.43 replaced by Stab/Flak-Brigade XI and moved to Saintes, and in Summer 1943 became Stab/12. Flak-Brigade. Controlled the following units:

Stab/Flak-Regiment 159 (E) left the brigade in 6.44, but returned 7.44.

Withdrawn from France 8.44 to Elsaß (from 9.44 with no units attached), and in 11.44 became Stab/Flak-Regiment 145.

Subordinated to Luftgau-Kommando Westfrankreich (12.41 - 10.43?; 2.44 - 9.44), Stab/11. Flak-Division (10.43 - 2.44), and Luftgau-Kommando V (8.44 - 10.44).
