Formed 26.8.39 in Gotha from parts of I./Flak-Regiment 3 with 1. - 5. Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4. - 5. leichte). Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 302.

Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in 1942:

4./gem.302 became 3./830, and was reformed
5./gem.302 became 4./830

Reorganised as a gemischte Abteilung in 1943, when two leichte Batterien was formed:

5./gem.302 from 1./830
6./gem.302 from 4./830

Disbanded 10.44.
