schwere Flak-Abteilung 301 (o)

Formed 26.8.39 in Gotha from parts of I./Flak-Regiment 3 with 5 Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4. - 5. leichte). Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 301.

Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in 1942:

4./gem.301 became 3./839, and was reformed
5./gem.301 became 4./839, and was reformed

6. and 7./s.301 was formed in late 1942; 8./s.301 was formed in 1944.

In 1943 2./s.301 became s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 3705 and 3./s.301 became 2./547; both was reformed.

In 8.44 6./s.301 was disbanded, and 7./s.301 became s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 5777 in late 1944.
