Formed 2.40 in Berlin with 5 Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4. - 5. leichte). Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 324.

Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in 1942:

4./Res.324 became 1./839, and was reformed
5./Res.324 became 2./839

5./s.324 was formed in late 1942.

6. - 9./s.324 was formed in late 1943:

6./s.324 from 2./389
7./s.324 from 5./389
8./s.324 from 4./642 (RAD 8./221)
9./s.324 from 10./244

Stab/s.324 was disbanded in 8.44, and the batteries became independent.
