Formed 4.40 in Luftgau VI with 1. - 5. Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4. - 5. leichte). Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 445.

Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in late 1942:

4./gem.445 became 1./882, and was reformed
5./gem.445 became 2./882, and was reformed

3./s.445 became s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 1517 in mid-1943, and was reformed; 5./s.445 became 1./627 in late 1943, and was reformed from 1./476 in late 1944.
