Formed 4.41 in Luftgau VI with 3 Batterien (known as Res.Flakscheinwerfer-Abt. 250 until 7.42).

4./Sw.250 was formed in 1942.

In 8.43 1./Sw.250 became 5./581, and was reformed from 14./Flak-Regiment 611. At the same time 5. and 6./Sw.250 was formed (5. from 11./Flak-Regiment 611 and 6. from 12./Flak-Regiment 611).

Service:

* 5./Sw.250 under Stab/Sw.518.
