schwere Flak-Abteilung 304 (v)

Formed 26.8.39 in Jena from Flak-Stamm-Batterie Jena with 5 Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4. - 5. leichte). Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 304.

Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in late 1941:

4./Res.304 became 4./805, and was reformed
5./Res.304 became 5./805

5. and 6./s.304 was formed in late 1944 (5. from 1./192, 6. from 3./192).

In 1943 1./s.304 was disbanded, and was reformed from 2./403; 3./s.304 became 4./192, and was reformed from s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 1518.

Service:

* part of unit was transferred to Tunis 2.43/3.43, and it is probably for this reason that 1./s.304 later had to be disbanded.
