Formed 2.7.41 in Luftgau XVII with 5 Batterien.. Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 804.
Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in late 1943:
4./gem.804 became 1./891, reformed from 3./432
5./gem.804 became 2./8915. and 6./s.804 was formed in late 1943 (5. from s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 9007, 6. from s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 9004).
Mainly used ex-British 4 cm and 9,4 cm AA guns.
