Each infantry-battalion consisted of 4 companies.
In 1943 the Panzer-Jäger-, Artillerie- and Flak-Abteilungen were united in Luftwaffen-Artillerie-Regiment 2.
Suffered heavy losses during the autumn of 1943, and was not taken over by the Army. Disbanded 11.43, and the remnants were absorbed by the 6. Feld-Division (L) in February 1944.
